Southbridge Old Time Radio: Broadcasting? Podcasting? Webcasting?

When it comes to electronics, I am, to say the least, a neophyte.  That is to say, nearly clueless.  That hasn't stopped me, however, from thinking about podcasting or broadcasting as a way to share my love of old time radio.

I am particularly motivated to doing this because I had an idea about how such programs could be used. I took that idea to the nursing home here in Southbridge.  Because most all of the residents grew up during the "golden age of radio," I thought they would appreciate listening to these programs once again.  I burned a disc to illustrate what I meant, and the folks there are considering it.

On further reflection, I have thought that perhaps a podcast (or broadcast?) could be a great way to bring this to them. Now, all I have to do is learn how to do that. That gets back to my less than sufficient knowledge about the technology.

This blog post represents one way I may be able to do this, but it is not really very efficient.  It is, however, free.

So this is just a trial.  Maybe it will work.  Maybe not.

This is an episode of Gunsmoke from 1952 titled "Billy the Kid."  It is preceded by an appropriate song. I hope you will listen and provide some feedback. Thanks.
